Metro Edge is a Christian speech and debate club for homeschooled students ages 12-18 in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

We exist to challenge and equip ambassadors for Christ to communicate truth with integrity and grace.

Time:

9:30am - 10:30am Limited Preparation Practice & Feedback

10:30am - 12:00pm Team Policy Debate

12:00pm - 12:30pm Lunch (bring your own) & Parent Meeting

12:30pm - 2:00pm Speech

Students can choose debate, speech or both.

Everyone should plan to stay for lunch.

Open House & Social - July 28, 2025, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Informational meeting. Register for the coming season. Bring your students for a fun social time!

Team Policy Debate Camp - August 11, 2025, from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Bring your own lunch. Cost: $10.00. The camp will focus on an introduction to the NCFCA 2026 Team Policy Resolution.

Club Family Christmas Party - December 6, 2025, at 5:00pm. Bring a treat to share and dress festive!

Feed My Starving Children - March 23, 2026. Afterwards, we will gather at Culver's for ice cream.

Students in club prepare to compete with the National Christian Forensics and Communication Association (NCFCA). Metro Edge students are encouraged to compete, but it is not required for club membership.
