Metro Edge is a Christian speech and debate club for homeschooled students ages 12-18 in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
We exist to challenge and equip ambassadors for Christ to communicate truth with integrity and grace.
Communication Skills Are Life Skills
We meet Mondays at St Joseph the Worker Church in Maple Grove, MN.
10:30am - 12:00pm Lincoln Douglas Debate
12:00pm - 12:30pm Lunch (bring your own) & Parent Meeting
12:30pm - 2:00pm Speech
2:00pm - 3:00pm Optional bonus hour for speech feedback
Students can choose debate, speech or both.
Everyone should plan to stay for lunch.

We will be at the NCFCA National Championship at the University of Northwestern,
St. Paul, on June 8-13, 2025. Come check it out!

You can also sign up to volunteer to judge. We need your help! No experience needed. Click "Judge Tournament" on the schedule linked above to sign up! You will be prompted to create an account. Your kids are welcome to come watch with you!
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO JUDGE!
Students in club prepare to compete with the National Christian Forensics and Communication Association (NCFCA). Metro Edge students are encouraged to compete, but it is not required for club membership.
